Garrett Keeton	General	The JRC shut down in '91 or '92 after the Jamaican government stopped subsidizing the operation. The guy at the Appleton distillery told us that they stopped shipping by rail in the mid 80's. There has been on and off discussion between the Jamaican government and interests from China about reopening the line but nothing firm has happened to my knowledge.	5/12/2006 10:10:59 AM
